One of the biggest nights of music was one for the books with jaw-dropping looks, live performances from some of the biggest artists to date, and iconic pop culture moments that will live on in music industry history for decades to come.

Hosted yet again by television host, Trevor Noah, it was truly a night to remember. The performances kicked off with Billie Eilish's hit, "BIRDS OF A FEATHER" along with an appearance by her brother & producer, Finneas. Other pop music productions include Chappell Roan's "Pink Pony Club" and Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso".
Alicia Keys took home Dr. Dre's Global Impact Award, a highly acclaimed achievement given artists who have amplified Black voices within and outside of the music industry. She used the stage to uplift and draw attention to fellow female producers who may have been overlooked in the male dominated sector of the industry. Even more so, she called attention to the importance of DEI, saying that "DEI is not a thread, it's a gift... the more voices, the more powerful the sound".
We also had the opportunity to see Shakira take over the stage and win Best Latin Pop Album for "LAS MUJERES YA NO LLORAN" as well as Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars's appearance on the main stage with a cover of "California Dreaming".
