The 2025 AMA's: Nominations, Live Performances, and Fan-Voted Artists

The American Music Awards return this year on May 26th, live from Las Vegas, continuing its legacy as a fan-voted celebration of music across a wide spectrum of genres. The event will once again honor some of the most influential and prolific artists of our time.

Last year’s star-studded 50th Anniversary Special brought together a remarkable lineup, featuring unforgettable performances from icons like Mariah Carey with “We Belong Together,” Jennifer Hudson, Chaka Khan, and Nelly. This year promises to deliver just as much excitement, with anticipated appearances from Jhené Aiko, Green Day, RAYE, and Stray Kids, each set to debut new music and pay tribute to their most iconic tracks.

Global superstar Jennifer Lopez will take center stage as both host and performer. Fans can look forward to a dynamic set featuring some of her greatest hits and a few surprises along the way.

Leading this year’s nominations is Kendrick Lamar, whose latest project GNX earned an impressive 10 nods. Post Malone follows with 8 nominations, including standout collaborations with Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen. Billie Eilish rounds out the top contenders with 7 nominations for her newest album HIT ME HARD AND SOFT.
